Relay For Life
This year we ended up being a Silver Team.  We ended the run with $4500!  It was a tough year for donations but we somehow exceeded our goal.  We pray it is just the amount needed to find the CURE!!!!  Below are a few of the pics taken that night.

Relay is always a special event - so life changing.  If you are tired of losing loved ones to cancer I urge you to get involved next year any way you can.  It feels good to fight back!

Relay For Life 2010

We had such a great team again this year.  Our total was $5,576.50 which brought us up to the Gold level.  We won second place at "Most Money Raised" here in Granbury.  We're all VERY proud of that!  I pray this money will help find the CURE!  It's time we see the end of cancer forever.
Below you will see pictures from our
Relay Garage Sale and the Relay itself.

This is our first American Cancer Society Relay For Life team 2009: "Stuff 'N' Nonsense"!  We came in second on our donations out of 45 teams here in Granbury.  We won first place for our Spirit Stick!  What a special journey this was!

About a week before Relay we had a plant sale at the shop.
That was the hardest $143 I ever made!

         Plant sale partners! Me
       & my daughter Amanda

More plant sale helpers.
Camon, Amanda and
Debbie.

This is a poster of our friends & loved ones touched by cancer.

Our campsite riddled by high winds!  The wind thankfully died down that night.

Our team poster before the wind really got it.  The theme for our campsite was the year 2000 and we chose to go with the Y2K Bug theme.

Opening ceremony.

Below Debbie is showing off our team banner.  It is a framed crochet piece my aunt made me while she was sitting in the hospital with her daughter (my cousin) as she was dying from cancer.  It has special meaning for me and is always hung at the store.   Sitting on the table is our winning Spirit Stick.
